About the exhibition program
Formally inaugurated in 2011, the UIC School of Architecture's exhibition program explores architectural ideas and history across a wide range of media and scales in order to advance the projects of emerging voices in design and curation (i.e., students, faculty, and invited guests). Anchored each May by the Year End Show, a celebration of the year's best student design projects, the exhibition program taps into the School's energy—already present in the work of its faculty and students and in other programming, including lectures, conferences, and visiting critic workshops—with the goals of fostering discussion and debate within the School community and simultaneously expanding the scope and audience for these conversations.
