Juan Manuel Rois is an Argentinean architect with a professional degree from the School of Architecture, Planning and Design of The National University of Rosario. Rois developed a professional practice in Argentina. Associated with Marcelo Villafañe, the practice designed and built various small-scale projects and participated in big scale awarded competitions, including the first prize at the National Competition for the Central Coast Area of Rosario. The work produced on those years has been published and exhibited in national and international architectural magazines.

After receiving his post-professional Master of Architecture with Concentration in Landscape Urbanism from UIC, he was awarded the Oberdick Fellowship from the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning of The University of Michigan.

He pursued his professional practice in Chicago at the office of Xavier Vendrell Architect, and at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. In his individual professional path, he was awarded prizes in various competitions. The most recent award was a second prize at the International Ideas Competition for the Metropolitan Park of the Rosario-Victoria Bridge.
