Exchanges

Student exchange opportunities are available for both graduate and undergraduate students at a variety of international universities. UIC SoA students enroll in and attend classes at the host institution, where instruction is typically given in the native language. Similarly, students from those schools enroll directly in the UIC School of Architecture.

The UIC School of Architecture welcomes graduate students yearly from schools such as the Delft University of Technology (the Netherlands), Hochschule der Kunst (Berlin, Germany), and the Ecole d'Architecture de Versailles (France), as well as undergraduate students from Mexican universities such as Universidada Autonoma de San Luis Potosi. SoA students may elect to attend those same universities. In addition, undergraduate students may attend Chu Hai University in Hong Kong (where instruction is in English).
