Y ARCH Summer Architecture Program
July 7 - August 1, 2008
Please join the School in celebrating a successful inaugural summer of Y ARCH at an exhibition and closing reception Friday, August 1 from 5p-7p in the 4300 Octagon Gallery!
Beginning summer 2008, the School of Architecture will offer Y ARCH, an intensive four-week program for students and working professionals with an interest in architecture and design.
Y ARCH is comprised of a series of "in studio" and "on location" lectures, exercises, and studies led by faculty from UIC's School of Architecture. Chicago, a city with global architectural significance, acts as both backdrop and context to enhance the program's educational objectives.
Y ARCH is ideal for individuals without formal architectural training who desire an introduction to the field in an academic setting with the help of experienced professors. Although college credit is not offered, each student receives a faculty evaluation and a certificate of participation upon successful completion of the program.
Please explore this site for details on the program and information about how to apply. We look forward to receiving your application and thank you for your interest.
